Amanzi Biosecurity was created by the aquaculture industry to further sustain industry development. Sustainable development of aquaculture is the creation of a mature industry which generates the benefits of employment, economic activity, export revenues and food production, in an equitable manner and without harm to either people or the environment.

Our Vision

Amanzi Biosecurity Aquaculture develoment requires control of disease as well as advancement of optimal health and production. Amanzi Biosecurity assists in disease control through accurate and timely diagnoses, advice on prevention, resolution and treatment, biosecurity programs, health examination, and advice to industry and government. Health is advanced through herd health programs and research.

Amanzi Biosecurity is a developing center for excellence in aquatic animal health in South Africa, Africa and the world. To be excellent is to exceed expectations, to be better than the norm.
